Original German M35 helmet.
Size 64.
The M35 was introduced in 1935 as the standard German steel helmet, replacing the WWI-era M16 and M18 patterns. It is identified by its rolled edge and separately riveted ventilation lugs, both dropped on later wartime models, and it remains the pattern most sought after by helmet collectors.
