Original candle feeder / candle holder component for a German carbide lamp (Karbidlampe), dating from the WWII period.
Carbide lamps, or Karbidlampen, were widely used by German engineer, signals and rear-area units where electric light was unavailable. Individual internal parts are often the only components to survive burial, and they are collected as spares for restoring complete lamps.
