“Refurbished” WWII Original German M40 Stahlhelm.
The helmet was found in the Orlovka area—part of the 6th Army’s northern pocket—near Stalingrad. A large number of shell casings and fragments of machine-gun belts were discovered at the site, so the decision was made to create a thematic illustration of a German machine gunner.
The helmet shell and liner are original; the artwork on the helmet is hand-painted. Professional restoration.
