Guaranteed original German M40 helmet.
Winter camouflage. Size 66
German units in Russia whitewashed helmets and vehicles each winter using whatever paint or lime was to hand. The finish was never durable, so an M40 shell that still shows genuine winter camouflage traces is an unusual survivor.
