Description
Completely empty dummy examples of original German DZ-35 fuzes and the original box for them. Good condition, markings are clearly legible. Adopted by the Wehrmacht in 1929. It was intended for arming various types of improvised anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. In particular, it could be used in improvised mines based on a 200-gram Sprengkörper 28 charge or using the body of a Stielhandgranate 24 hand grenade with a special adapter. These mines were not standard Wehrmacht mines (Heeresminen), but belonged to the category of auxiliary mines (Behelfsminen). However, personnel of engineer/sapper units were trained in the manufacture and use of such mines. This was planned in case mine warfare took on a large scale and industry could not keep up with supplying standard mines. The DZ 35 fuze could also be used in the SMi 35 mine. Such combinations were encountered during the war on the Eastern Front. Guaranteed authentic.
